Interested in the Maui running scene? Join us for a group run, workout or race!

Running is an individual sport.  However, we believe there is power found in community- your running ohana, or family and friends, that link us together.  It’s through these connections that help motivate, challenge and inspire us.  One way to find your ohana and community is through group runs, races, community events and workshops.  Email mauirunco@gmail.com for more information about any of the opportunities listed.

Group Runs

Group runs are free and open to all ages and abilities!  Simply bring yourself, some aloha to share, and don’t forget your shoes! Whether you’re new or a long-time veteran to running, training for a race, want to improve your fitness, or simply looking for accountability to get outside, our goal is that you’ll find what you’re looking for at one of our runs.

Sunday Morning Group Runs with Maui Running Company and Valley Isle Road Runners

Coming soon: weekly track workouts, cross training opportunities and other social events!

Local Race Calendar and Resources

Maui has a small but growing number of races.  You can usually find at least one a month, if not more during the fall and winter when temperatures are cooler. In our best effort to keep current on the local racing scene, our race calendar will be updated at the beginning of every month.  Race directors and non-profits, please contact us at mauirunco@gmail.com if you’d like to have your event listed.

Maui Race Calendar

Valley Isle Road Runners was founded in 1970 and has been a mainstay in the Maui running community for almost fifty years.  VIRR organizes the largest number of races, offers social runs and list other races and events on their website.  Maui Running Company is proud to partner with and support this local non-profit.  See our Giving Back page for more information on our initiative to pay-it-forward in the community.

Runner’s Paradise is a local race management company offering a variety of events throughout the year.

Maui Running has a comprehensive race calendar on their website.  They also provide some additional resources such as places to run on the island.

Events and Workshops

Coming Soon: Local collaborations such as “Laces and Lagers”, workshops focused on Strength and Stability for Speed, Triathlon 101, Active Recovery and the Benefit of Rest.

We want to hear from you!  What types of workshops and events are you most interested in?

Email mauirunco@gmail.com with your ideas and we look forward to offering some unique, educational and fun opportunities to Maui’s running community!
